Disclosed is an exhaust system of a steam turbine, which is configured to make uniform the flow distribution of steam, which is discharged from an outlet of the steam turbine and flows, and recover the pressure of the steam, and allow the steam to flow into a steam condenser. The exhaust system of a steam turbine according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a steam guide connected to an outlet of an internal casing in the steam turbine, which is configured to allow flowing steam to rotate a rotary shaft and be discharged, to guide the flow of the discharged steam; and an external casing having the internal casing and the steam guide therein, connected to a steam condenser, and forming a flow space such that steam guided by the steam guide flows and flows into the steam condenser, wherein a cross section where an upper flow space is formed in the external casing perpendicular to the rotary shaft is a rectangle, of which the ratio of width to length is 2 to 1, such that the flow space of steam sufficient to make uniform the flow distribution of the steam and recover the pressure thereof is formed in the external casing. According to the above configuration, the present invention can make uniform the flow distribution of steam, which is discharged from a steam turbine and flows in an exhaust system of the steam turbine, can recover the pressure of the steam, can reduce the vibration and pressure loss of the exhaust system of the steam turbine, and can improve the output and thermal efficiency of the steam turbine.
