<p>Provided is an inkjet recording apparatus capable of keeping the gap between the nozzle plane of an inkjet head and a recording medium in the extended direction of a head supporting member constant even in the case that the rigidity of a printing unit, which supports the inkjet head with a double cantilever beam via the head supporting member, is low. The inkjet recording apparatus comprises a printing unit which has a left base plate (147) and a right base plate (157), which support the inkjet head (15) conducting printing on a recording medium with a double cantilever beam via a carriage guide (111); and a bridge moving unit (182) which is installed against the right base plate (157) and moves the right base plate (157) toward the left base plate (147) to correct the bending of the carriage guide (111).
