The Rumex crispus L extract prevents the differentiation of preadipocyte cells to fat cells, and enables users to achieve an anti-obesity effect. The Rumex crispus L extract can be developed for preventing, treating, and curing obesity. Also, the Rumex crispus L extract of the present invention is an extract obtained from Rumex crispus L, a traditional medical herb, therefore have extremely low generation of side effects when the extract is applied to human body.
