<p>The objective of the present invention lies within reducing the power consumption of the warm-up operation of an air conditioner when heating. The air conditioner is commenced of a low-performance warming up, before the starting of heating, from a predetermined time set by a timer. The air conditioner (A), in addition, is shifted to a high-performance warming up, when a human body is sensed by a human body detecting sensor. Thereafter, the air conditioner starts heating, when a start signal is received to a remote controller (Re). Moreover, even after the commence of the low-performance warming up, when a human body is not detected after the preset time lapses, and the start signal is not received, the air conditioner is stopped of the warm-up operation.
