The present invention relates to a method for modeling a pad eye and, more specifically, to a method for modeling a pad eye, which is capable of preventing the pad eye from interfering with surrounding structures when lifting a weight by securing the swing volume of the weight according to pad eye installation directions. To this end, a method for modeling the pad eye installed to a ship or a marine structure comprises: a location input step for checking and entering a pad eye installation location to prevent the interference of surrounding structures; a swing determination step for determining whether to swing a weight which is lifted by using the pad eye; a swing direction input step for entering a swing direction of the weight; an angle input step for entering an angle regarding the swing direction of the weight; and a modeling completion step for completing the modeling of the pad eye.
