POLYETHERESTER ELASTOMER RESIN AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

The present invention relates to polyetherester elastomer resin and a manufacturing method thereof and, more particularly, to polyetherester elastomer resin having excellent hydrolysis resistance and flow properties and having a low content of total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) and a manufacturing method thereof. The present invention provides polyetherester elastomer having excellent hydrolysis resistance while reducing the harmful effects of total volatile organic compounds generated in a manufacturing process or in use by sequentially conducting polycondensation and solid-state polymerization under a specific condition and reducing the contents of the total volatile organic compounds and carboxyl groups contained in the polyetherester elastomer. Also the present invention can reduce yellowing phenomena due to pyrolysis by enabling the production of resin for injection molding having excellent flow properties and reducing time for polycondensation because solid-state polymerization is conducted after manufacturing low-molecular-weight resin to solve the problems of a rise in the molecular weight of the resin by solid-state polymerization, a rise in viscosity, and thus hindering injection molding.
