FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: described is a curable filling compound for making formed parts from plastic, which contains binding material and filling material, the filling material making up about 40-85 wt % of the filling compound and containing two or more filler fractions. The first fraction of the filler consists of whole granular mineral particles and the second fraction of the filler consists of shape-stable hollow microspheres made of silicate material, and wherein the second fraction of the filler makes up at least about 1 vol. % of the filling compound. Also described is use of said filling compound for making formed parts from plastic for kitchen and sanitary-household needs, primarily kitchen sinks and kitchen working surfaces.
