PURPOSE: A power saving and overload preventing device is provided to automatically cutoff power if overload is generated and transmit a signal to the outside, thereby minimizing power consumption. CONSTITUTION: A body (10) is inserted into a connecting member (200) to which an outlet (100) is connected. A first printed circuit board (PCB) (20) is formed within the body, converts currents supplied to an input unit (21), and generates a signal corresponding to load capacity. A cover (30) is disposed in the upper part of the body. A second PCB (40) is formed within the cover, and is electrically connected to the first PCB. The second PCB controls power by the control of the signal generated in the first PCB, and transmits the signal to the outside. |
