The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a round-collar suit that improves on a straight-line collar to have curvature, expands a chest exposure line when worn by a person with a heavy upper body, and thereby provides improved ventilation and comfort, and the suit. More particularly, a part of a surface fabric plate that is covered onto a surface fabric collar of a surface fabric is cut in a first cutting line along an inclination of the surface fabric collar, a v-shaped second cutting line forming a point (P) is cut starting from both end points of the first cutting line to the side opposite to the surface fabric collar to generate a triangular surface fabric space, the first cutting line and the second cutting line are pulled to be connected through sewing so that the folded part of the surface fabric collar is sewed to form an outside curvature, a part of a lining plate that is covered onto a lining collar of the lining is cut in a third cutting line along the lining collar not to be superposed on the first cutting line, a v-shaped fourth cutting line is cut starting from both end points of the third cutting line to the side opposite to the surface fabric collar to have a triangular shape forming a point to generate a triangular lining space, the third cutting line and the fourth cutting line are pulled to be connected through sewing so that the folded part of the lining collar is sewed to form an inside curvature, and edges of the surface fabric and the lining are sewed so that the surface fabric collar and the lining collar form the curvature. Since the straight-line collar of the suit is changed into the curved collar, a wearer with a large chest size or a large chest thickness can feel comfortable when wearing the suit. |
