摘要 The present invention provides a method for enhancing stress resistance by transforming a plant cell with a plant expression vector and suppressing photorespiration in a plant; a method for producing the transgenic plant with inhibited photorespiration and enhanced stress resistance compared with a wild type by transforming the plant cell with a recombinant vector containing the gene; a transgenic plant produced thereby with inhibited photorespiration and enhanced stress resistance compared with a wild type; and a composition containing seeds of the transgenic plant and the expression vector of the gene for inhibiting photorespiration and enhancing stress resistance in the plant. The plant expression vector contains: a glycolate dehydrogenase 1 (glcD1) coding gene derived from cyanobacteria; or a glycolate carboligase (gcl) coding gene and a tartronic semialdehyde reductase (tsr) coding gene.
