An antenna assembly and a portable terminal including the same are provided to implement high radio property by efficiently arranging a radiator for high band and a radiator for low band. An antenna assembly(30) comprises a carrier(32), a first antenna radiator(40) and a second antenna radiator(50). The carrier is made of dielectric. The carrier has a first mounting surface(34) and a second mounting surface. The first mounting surface is formed with a first height to a ground plane(G). The second mounting surface is formed with a second height lower than the first height. The first antenna radiator is mounted to the first mounting surface. The second antenna radiator is mounted to the second mounting surface. The second antenna radiator operates in the resonance frequency band higher than the first antenna radiator. The carrier comprises a lateral support and a vertical support. The exterior of the lateral support forms the first mounting surface. The inner surface of the lateral support forms the second mounting surface. The vertical support supports the lateral support with a fixed height to the ground plane. |
