PURPOSE: A water purifier and a method for cleaning the reservoir in the water purifier are provided to improve the marketability of the water purifier by cleaning the reservoir in the water purifier without the support of a manager. CONSTITUTION: A water purifying filter(140) purifies water supplied from waterworks. A chloride supplying unit(110) supplies chlorides to purified water without impurities in order to generate a cleaning solution. A cleaning solution supplying pipe connects the chloride supplying unit and a reservoir. A purified water supplying pipe connects the chloride supplying unit and the water purifying filter. A valve controls the supply of purified water. The purified water is stored in the reservoir and is discharged. The impurities are eliminated by the water purifying filter. The cleaning solution is drained. |
