The present invention relates to an apparatus for restraining the expansion of a dual pipe and, more specifically, to an apparatus for restraining the expansion of a dual pipe, in which the thermal expansion of a carrier pipe through which a high-temperature or high-pressure fluid flows is restrained, and a thermal expansion restraining member for the restraint is installed through welding, thereby improving convenience and economic feasibility of work. To achieve this, in a dual pipe composed of a carrier pipe through which a high-temperature or high-pressure fluid flows, and a casting pipe surrounding the outer circumferential surface of the carrier pipe and being shorter than the carrier pipe, the apparatus according to the present invention is installed between the carrier pipe and an end portion of the casting pipe to restrain the expansion of the carrier pipe. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a first ring member welded along the circumferential surface of the carrier pipe protruding from the casting pipe; a second ring member welded along the circumference of the end portion of the casting pipe; and a stiffener for connecting the first ring member and the second ring member to each other. |
