The present invention relates to a system and a method for assembling a piston of an engine. As for a system for assembling a piston of an engine, in which the piston of the engine is assembled on a cylinder block, the system comprises: a hollow piston jig for guiding the piston; a clamp unit installed above the cylinder block to support and fix the piston jig; and a control unit for controlling the piston jig and the clamp unit. A sloping chamfer surface is formed on an outer circumferential surface of an upper portion of the cylinder block, and a chamfer part corresponding to the chamfer surface is formed at a lower portion of the piston jig. The piston jig is configured to apply elastic force to attain close contact between the chamfer surface and the chamfer part. |
