A mobile communication terminal device and a method for processing an image therein are provided to reduce or enlarge a size of the image according to selection of a user. An image is displayed on a display unit(S10). The image is a counter part-sided image received by the mobile telecommunication terminal device, or a transmitter-sided image to be transmitted to a counter part. A specific region, which is to be reduced or enlarged, is selected from the image(S20). If the image is displayed in plural domains, one of the plural domains is selected and then a specific region is selected from the selected domain. The selected specific region is reduced or enlarged(S30). The reduction or enlargement of the specific region is performed by using an editing filter realized in a software type. The editing filter shows a convex effect when the image is enlarged, and shows a concave effect when the image is reduced. |
