The present invention relates to a bilayered tablet composite formulation which includes (a) a first layer including irbesartan or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof; (b) a second layer which includes atorvastatin or pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof, and magnesium carbonate (MgCO3) with a weight ratio of 1:4 to 1:5, and to a method for preparing the same. The bilayered tablet composite formulation according to the present invention shows excellent release rate and bioavailability so that the bilayered tablet composite formulation can be used as medicines for hypertension and hypercholesterolemia.
