<p>According to the present invention, an image forming apparatus includes an image forming part for forming an image in a recording material and a pair of transfer rollers for transferring and nipping the recording material. The image forming apparatus includes a contact part which allows at least one roller to touch the recording material when the recording material passes between the pair of transfer rollers, and a non-contact part which is not in contact with the recording material when the recording material passes between the pair of transfer rollers. The non-contact part has a function of removing electrostatic charges which discharges charges applied to the recording material.</p> |
