FIELD: measurement equipment.SUBSTANCE: method and device to detect liquid flow, in particular, water, in a consuming plant, comprising at least one facility (3) of opening/closing for liquid supply, besides, this plant is fed via an inlet pipeline (2), equipped with an electric valve (5), a pressure sensor (6) placed upstream the electric valve and a pressure sensor (7) placed downstream the electric valve. Control facilities (8) are made with the capability to perform the following operations: calculation of difference (?P) between the value of the pressure signal (Pam) at the inlet and the value of the pressure signal (Pav) at the outlet, comparison of this difference (?P) with at least one threshold of actuation (S?Po, S?Pf); besides, when the specified difference (?P) of pressures becomes equal to or exceeds the threshold (S?Po) of actuation, the control signal (Co) is generated to open the electric valve (5); when the difference (?P) of pressures becomes equal to or less than the threshold (S?Pf) of actuation, the control signal (Cf) is generated to close the electric valve (5), and the signal (D) of flow is generated depending on the specified difference (?P) of pressures.EFFECT: possibility to detect leaks and microleaks, without flow disturbance.12 cl, 4 dwg |
