The present invention relates to a filtration apparatus using diatomaceous earth for conducting the precoating of the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth and the purification of liquid to be purified, comprising: an inflow pipe for introducing the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth or the liquid to be purified; a diverging pipe diverging from the inflow pipe to transfer the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth or the liquid to be purified; an opening and closing valves installed on each of the diverging pipes to open and close the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth or the liquid to be purified; filtration filters installed on the inner sides of the diverging pipes to allow the flow of the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth or the liquid to be purified, forming a diatomaceous earth layer with the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth, and filtering sludge from the liquid to be filtered; and an outflow pipe for integrating and discharging the liquid mixture of diatomaceous earth or the liquid to be purified which are discharged through the diverging pipes. The filtration apparatus using diatomaceous earth according to the present invention can increase dehydration efficiency by composing separate lines for each of the filtration filters and enabling constant discharge during dehydration and can increase filtering efficiency by protecting the diatomaceous earth membrane of the filtration filters during precoating.
