The present invention relates to a method for predicting a reduction index of sintered ore. The method for predicting the reduction index of sintered ore according to the present invention includes a division step which divides a massive sintered ore into a plurality of regions having fixed patterns; a measurement step which measures porosity or the reduction index of sintered ore of each region divided in the division step; and a calculation step which substitutes either the porosity or the reduction index measured in the measurement step into an equation to calculate and and deduct the remaining value. The present invention conveniently predicts the reduction index of the sintered ore if the porosity of the sintered ore is obtained by producing the massive sintered ore by using an actual sintering trailer, measuring the porosity of each region of the sintered ore, and grasping the correlation between the porosity and the reduction index.
