FIELD: radio engineering, communication.SUBSTANCE: multibeam antenna system consists of N multibeam large-aperture radiators (LAR), each providing maximum gain in a conical angle of view of 8.7° for global space communication. The used M-beam LAR in the multibeam array of N such radiators with a digital circuit for generating N beams enables to minimise the total number of radiators for given gain in the angle of view and enables to generate MN beams in the angle of view. Compared with prototypes, the invention enables to reduce field amplitude-phase errors in the aperture of a multibeam antenna array (MAR) consisting of a parabolic axially symmetric mirror and a radiator from 7 open ends of circular waveguides, reduce distortion in the multibeam pattern of LAR and increase the gain of LAR and MAR in an angle of view of 8.7°.EFFECT: reducing field amplitude-phase errors in the aperture of a multibeam antenna array.4 cl, 7 dwg, 1 tbl |
