<p>The invention relates to a method for estimating the composition of distillation columns and controlling same, which columns include a head tank, an end tank, and at least one plate between the head tank and the end tank. The present invention provides a system for estimating the composition and level of a distillation column by using control techniques based on neuronal networks and genetic algorithms, wherein the estimation is carried out on the composition of the head and end of the column based on neuronal networks utilizing easy-to-measure secondary variables.</p> |
