<p>The present invention relates to an ambient environment recognizing system for a vehicle and, more specifically, to an ambient environment recognizing system for a vehicle which accurately recognizes an ambient environment of a vehicle as a camera and an illumination measuring photodiode system receives a power supply from a single vehicle interface connector, and an operation device corrects the brightness of the ambient environment videos of the vehicle taken by the camera based on the illumination measuring photodiode system. The present invention provides the ambient environment recognizing system for a vehicle including a camera which is mounted on the vehicle and which outputs the video information obtained by taking the videos of the ambient environment videos of the vehicle; the illumination measuring photodiode system which measures the illumination of the vehicle ambient environment and outputs the illumination information; the operation device which receives the video information from the camera and the illumination information from the illumination measuring photodiode system; and a storage unit which receives the information of the vehicle ambient environment generated by the operation device and stores the same.
