Disclosed is an LED display device which receives a message from an external terminal and a control method thereof. The message transmitted from the terminal is received by a specific wireless communication method. A micom displays the received message in an LED display part. By doing so, in the embodiment of the present invention, a message is displayed in the inner or the outer part of a vehicle to advertise simply or to send a desired message to the surrounding people.
