The present invention relates to a composition including a pyrazole derivative or a pharmaceutically approved salt thereof, in order to prevent or cure nephritis. The composition of the present invention is effective in reducing albuminuria, the formation of glomerular mesangial cells, and suppressing kidney fibrosis. The composition for preventing and curing nephritis includes compounds chosen among: 1-(pyridine-2-yl)-3-phenyl-4-propyl-1H-pyrazole-ol; hydrochloride(1-(pyridine-2-yl)-3-phenyl-4-propyl-1H-pyrazoe-5-ol·HCl) of 1-(pyridine-2-yl)-3-phenyl-4-propyl-1H-pyrazoe-5-ol; 3-(3-methoxyphenyl)-1-(pyridine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazle-5(4H)-on; 3-(4-bromophenyl)-1(pyridine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-ol; 3-(4-bromophenyl)-1-(pyridine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-yl acetate; 3-(3-iodinephenyl)-1-(pyridine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-ol; 3-((naphthalene-3-yloxy)methy)-1-(pyridine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-ol; 3-(2-(benzo′d′′1,3′deoxol-5-yl)phenyl)-1-(pyridine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-ol; 3-(biphenyl-4-yl)-1-(pyrimidine-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole-5-ol; and 3-{2-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxy)vinyl}-4-propyl-1-(2-pyridiyl)pyrazole-5-ol, or pharmaceutically approved salts thereof.
