The present invention relates to a method for providing tourist information using navigation, an apparatus and a system therefor, capable of providing recommendation tourist information or a driving route via recommended tourist spots by taking account of how long a user will stay after the user sets a driving route and arrives at his or her destination. The system for providing tourist information according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a user terminal for transmitting one or more among current position information, destination information and stay time information to a service device when a navigation function is activated; and the service device for calculating a driving route to the destination and transmitting the driving route to the user terminal if the current position information and the destination information are received from the user terminal, and for extracting the recommendation tourist information on the destination to make the sum of tour time regarding the recommendation tourist information shorter than the stay time and transmitting the extracted recommendation tourist information to the user terminal if it is confirmed that the user terminal arrives at the destination.
