PURPOSE: An aquarium is provided to have a function of smoothly releasing deterioration of water quality caused by all kinds of contaminants. CONSTITUTION: An aquarium comprises a water tank(400) containing water for fish to live, a base(600) supporting the water tank, a residue removing unit(100) maintaining clean water quality inside of the water tank, a floating material removing unit(200), and a water film forming unit(300). The residue removing unit comprises a first pump inhaling precipitate absorbed water through an inlet formed on the bottom of the water tank, a residue separating part separating precipitate from the precipitate absorbed water, and a residue outlet ejecting the separated precipitate to outside of the water tank.
