The device (1) has an inlet orifice (2) intended for the passage of a dirty airflow charged with solid and/or liquid particles, and an outlet orifice (3) intended for the passage of filtered airflow. A housing (4) includes an inlet compartment (5) in which the inlet orifice emerges, and a filter element (6) between the inlet compartment and the outlet orifice to filter the airflow. A deflector (8) is arranged in the inlet compartment, and faces the inlet orifice, so as to deflect the dirty airflow penetrating the inlet compartment.
