PURPOSE: An order waiting service system using a mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to inform waiting time based on an application installed in a smart phone, thereby conveniently utilizing an order waiting service. CONSTITUTION: An order waiting service providing server(100) provides an application(400) which virtually enables the queuing through mobile terminals(200,300). The order waiting service providing server provides an order waiting service to users connected to the application. A mobile terminal executes the application and provides the order waiting service to a user. The application is driven in a manager mode and a user mode.
