The socket (100) has two electric connection terminals equipped with cells for insertion into a connection pin of an electric card. An electric control unit includes a sensor (600) i.e. micro-switch, that is adapted to act on an electrical control circuit to generate a control command. A pin (500) is moved against a return unit (510) according to an axis of one of the cells from a rest position in which the pin emerges into the other cell. The pin is moved back toward a back of the socket in an actuation position to actuate the sensor such that that the pin acts on the control circuit.
