The tool (1) has a blank part (3) positioned at front end of the tool. The blank part is covered with an abrasive material (5) for forming a blank hole. A completion part (4) is placed behind the blank part and covered with another abrasive material (6) allowing completion of the hole by dimensioning. The blank part comprises an abrasive ring (7) in extension of a longitudinal axis (L). The completion part is provided with abrasive grains that are finer than that of the blank part. The ring includes leading edge in straight, beveled or round form. An independent claim is also included for a method for drilling a part.
