The device has a fixing strip (4) that is interdependent of one part (1) i.e. case or upper part of body of car, that is covered according to a direction (A), and an opening (10) on another part (2) e.g. garnishing element. The opening has a reception part (16) for reception of the strip according to the direction. A blocking part (18) allows blocking of the strip. The strip extends into introduction part (20) and into locking part (22) at the same time. The introduction and the locking parts are arranged to retain the strip in-between according to all directions in a blocking position. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembly of two parts of a vehicle by sliding.
