The present invention relates to an apparatus for limiting rotation of a door opening and closing handle in a dish washer. In particular, the apparatus includes a pair of handle rotation limiters, which has a slope and limits the rotation of the opening and closing handle by sliding on a slope portion of the opening and closing handle when a door is closed on both sides of a rear wall of a known dish washer body, and additionally includes selectively a buffering member or a buffering and right and left flow preventing member on a slope of the handle rotation limiter as necessary. Thus, safety can be secured during opening and closing of the door in the dish washer by preventing injury that may occur due to fingers of a user caught between the handle and the front of the door as the user continues to push the handle in a closing direction even when the door is closed. Usability of the product and convenience and reliability during opening and closing of the door can be improved by preventing an opening and closing defect generated by eccentricity of the door according to a right and left flow of the opening and closing handle and the door during or after opening and closing of the door. And the lifetime of the product can be extended by preventing deformation of or damage to the handle that may occur during opening and closing of the door. |
