The present invention makes it possible that light transmission inside a case of a light source unit can be performed more stably and efficiently. Provided is a light source unit (13) that causes a light guiding part (40) of a probe (11) to emit laser light L. The light source unit (13) includes: a unit case (13b) having a connector receiving part (51b) that is detachable with respect to a connector part (51a) of the light guiding part (40); a light source (30) that is provided inside the unit case (13b) and outputs laser light L; a diffusion part (80) that diffuses the laser light L output from the light source (30); a light condensing lens system (81) that condenses the laser light L diffused by the diffusion part (80); and an optical fiber (82a) that transmits the laser light L condensed by the light condensing lens system (81) to the connector receiving part (51b), wherein the connector receiving part (51b) optically connects the optical fiber (82a) and the light guiding part (40). |
