<p>The present invention relates to a dialyzer capable of removing viruses, which is composed of at least a dialysis machine and a virus removal machine utilizing a polymer base material for virus removal use, said dialyzer being characterized in that the polymer base material for virus removal use comprises a polymer support (A) onto which a sugar is immobilized. The present invention also relates to a dialyzer capable of removing viruses as mentioned above, wherein the polymer base material for virus removal use is produced by binding a polymer support (A) of which the surface is treated with a polymer material having a hydroxy group to a compound (B) having a group capable of reacting with a hydroxy group to form a covalent bond, wherein a sugar is immobilized onto the polymer base material through a compound (C) having an amino group.</p> |
