The method involves providing cleaning apparatus with cleaning nozzle. The cleaning nozzle is provided with tube with minimum bend radius less than 20 mm or 15 mm. The nozzle structure (3) is provided with nozzle head (4) with several spray nozzles (8). The diameter of nozzle head is less than 30 mm. The pressurized cleaning fluid is delivered to inner wall of measuring tube (2) of flow meter through the cleaning nozzle adhered over several spray nozzles. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) cleaning nozzle; and (2) method for manufacturing cleaning nozzle.
