PURPOSE: A method for diagnosing anticancer drug resistance is provided to effectively diagnose resistance to existing anticancer drugs and to previously confirm efficacy of the anticancer drugs. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosing anticancer drug resistance in a mammal with cancer comprises: a step of measuring an expression level of CAGE(cancer associated gene) in a cell sample from a subject mammal; and a step of determining the cell sample has strong anticancer drug resistance(or low sensitivity) when the expression level of CAGE in the cell sample is high and determining the cell sample has week anticancer drug resistance(or high sensitivity) when the expression level of CAGE in the cell sample is low. The cell sample is serum. The anticancer drug is celastrol or taxol. |
