METHOD OF FABRICATING DISPLAY DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device using an organic EL element with ease at a low cost.SOLUTION: A display device having an organic EL element, a sealing film covering the organic EL element, and a coloring layer provided on the sealing film is fabricated. The coloring layer is formed by using a coloring material layer transmitting light in a specific wavelength region. The coloring material layer is cured by using light-emission of the organic EL element. A partial region of the coloring material layer (including a region overlapped with a light-emission region of the organic EL element) is cured by making the organic EL element emit light. Thereafter, an uncured region of the coloring material layer is removed by development to form the coloring layer (corresponding to the cured region of the coloring material layer) in the region overlapped with the light-emission region of the organic EL element.
