PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power steering device for improving a steering feeling.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes a motor control device for controlling driving of a motor that gives assist torque to a steering mechanism by an assist command value Tas. The motor control device arithmetically operates a first assist component Ta1 from steering torque Th and a vehicle speed V. Also, a turning angle command value &thetas;p* is arithmetically operated from the steering torque Th and the first assist component Ta1, and a second assist component Ta2 is arithmetically operated by feedback control that makes the turning angle &thetas;p coincide with the steering angle command value &thetas;p*. The motor control device arithmetically operates an assist command value Tas by adding the second assist component Ta2 to the first assist component Ta1. The motor control device includes a load information compensation part 45 for adjusting the second assist component Ta2 included in the assist command value Tas. A basic assist component operation part 41 arithmetically operates the first assist component Ta1 in accordance with an adjustment degree of the second assist component Ta2. |
