PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device and a control method.SOLUTION: The control device is used for automatically switching an operation state of electronic equipment and includes: a detection module which, when detecting that the control device is connected to the electronic equipment, generates an acquisition signal; an acquisition module for acquiring an image of a peripheral environment of the electronic equipment on the basis of the acquisition signal; a determination module which generates a first control signal and transmitting it to the electronic equipment when determining that a target object is not included in the acquired image, thereby controlling the electronic equipment to be switched to a first state on the basis of the first control signal; a timing module which totals duration during which the electronic equipment is in a first state; and a comparison module which compares the duration with prescribed time and generates a second control signal and transmits it to the electronic equipment when the duration is larger than or equal to the prescribed time, thereby controlling the electronic equipment to be switched to a second state on the basis of the second control signal. |
