Provided is a solar cell module, the output properties of which are unlikely to change over time. A solar cell module (1) is equipped with a sealing material (17), a solar cell (13), and a wiring material (14). The solar cell (13) is positioned in the sealing material (17). The wiring material (14) is positioned on top of one principal surface of the solar cell (13). The wiring material (14) contains Cu. The sealing material (17) has a first sealing-material layer (17b) and a second sealing-material layer (17c). The first sealing-material layer (17b) is provided above the one principal surface of the solar cell (13). The first sealing-material layer (17b) has a relatively high viscosity. The second sealing-material layer (17c) is positioned between the first sealing-material layer (17b) and the solar cell (13). The second sealing-material layer (17c) has a relatively low viscosity. The first-sealing material layer (17b) is positioned so as to contact the principal surface (14b) of the wiring material (14) on the opposite side of the solar cell (13). The second sealing-material layer (17c) is positioned so as to contact the lateral surface of the wiring material (14).
