PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a satellite signal reception device, a clocking device and a satellite signal reception method, which can reduce power consumption.SOLUTION: The satellite signal reception device includes a reception operation unit that receives a satellite signal transmitted from a position information satellite and performs reception operation processing for generating position information from a satellite signal, and the satellite signal includes at least a detailed orbit information period including detailed orbit information of the position information satellite and an approximate orbit information period including approximate orbit information of the position information satellite, and the reception operation unit performs the reception operation processing in the detailed orbit information period and sets the approximate orbit information period as a reception operation suspension period, and suspends at least a part of the reception operation processing during the reception operation suspension period. |
