PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit only charging or only feeding in response to a failure state of relays.SOLUTION: A feed control section 20d closes switches RY3-RY5 of relays 11, 12 to configure a feeding circuit. DC power of a secondary battery 3 is converted to a three-phase alternating current by an inverter circuit 4 and supplied to a rotating electrical machine 5. A charge control section 20e opens the switches RY3-RY5 of the relays 11, 12 to configure a charging circuit. The secondary battery 3 is charged from an AC power supply 6 via a rectification circuit 50 and a voltage conversion circuit 60. When all the switches RY3-RY5 are normal, both feeding and charging are permitted. If only a stuck-on fault occurs in the switches RY3-RY5, only feeding is permitted. If only a stuck-off fault occurs in the switches RY3-RY5, only charging is permitted. If both stuck-on and stuck-off faults occur in the switches RY3-RY5, both feeding and charging are restricted. |
