This uniflow scavenging two-cycle engine (100) is provided with: a cylinder (110); a piston (112) that slides inside the cylinder; an exhaust port (116) disposed at one end of the cylinder; an exhaust valve (120) that opens and closes the exhaust port; scavenging ports (122) that are disposed on the inner peripheral surface at the other end of the cylinder in the stroke direction of the piston, and draws an active gas into a combustion chamber (140) according to the sliding motion of the piston; and a plurality of fuel injection valves (128) that injects a fuel gas into the active gas drawn into the combustion chamber from the scavenging ports so as to generate a premixed gas. The plurality of fuel injection valves includes at least a first fuel injection valve that injects the fuel gas along a swirling flow of the active gas drawn into the cylinder, and a second fuel injection valve that injects the fuel gas more to the central axis side of the cylinder than the first fuel injection valve.
