There is provided an image processing apparatus which sets divided regions in each of a left-eye image and a right-eye image in one way of setting divided regions, the left-eye image and the right-eye image being components of a stereoscopic image, and corrects, on a set divided region basis, color discrepancy between one of the left-eye image and the right-eye image and the other of the left-eye image and the right-eye image, the one image being not a color correction target, the other image being the color correction target, and which serially sets divided regions in the left-eye image and the right-eye image, in one or more other ways of setting divided regions different from the one way of setting divided regions, and serially corrects the color discrepancy between the one image and the other image on the set divided region basis. |
