<p>Provided is an apparatus for detecting minute magnetic metal foreign bodies, said apparatus forming a static magnetic field with permanent magnets and detecting disruptions in the magnetic field caused by an object to be measured, i.e., a minute magnetic metal foreign body, so as to reliably measure the object with a magnetic sensor. The apparatus for detecting minute magnetic metal foreign bodies is equipped with: permanent magnets (21, 22) which are provided on opposite sides of a passage (27) for an object to be measured (A) and form a static magnetic field near the object (A); multiple detection coils (23, 24, 25, 26) which are provided between the permanent magnets (21, 22) and detect changes in the magnetic field caused by the object (A) moving through the passage (27); an input coil (31) which is connected to the multiple detection coils (23, 24, 25, 26); and a SQUID magnetic sensor (32) for detecting a signal from the input coil (31).</p> |
