PURPOSE: A system for remotely controlling a broadcasting reproduction apparatus and a method thereof are provided to enable a protector to recognize the state of current broadcasting watching and control a broadcasting reproduction apparatus at a remote place so that the protector may limit and permit the broadcasting watching of a TV viewer at a remote place. CONSTITUTION: A broadcasting reproduction apparatus(100) includes an IPTV which reproduces a broadcasting contents by requesting/receiving the broadcasting contents through the connection to an Internet network based on an IP(Internet Protocol). The broadcasting reproduction apparatus requests a message service server(400) to provide operation state related information corresponding to a switched corresponding operation state to a preregistered terminal device. The message service server supports an SMS or MMS message server. |
