摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further enhance a solar battery property in a dye-sensitized solar battery of solid type.SOLUTION: A dye-sensitized solar battery 40 comprises: a photoelectrode 20 having a transparent conductive substrate 14 and a porous semiconductor layer 24 provided on the substrate and having a pigment; a solid p-type semiconductor layer 26 at least partially filled in pores in the porous semiconductor layer 24; and a counter electrode 30 opposed to the photoelectrode 20 so that the solid p-type semiconductor layer 26 is arranged therebetween. The pore diameter distribution of the porous semiconductor layer 24 shows the maximum in a range of 160 nm to 1 μm. The difference in refraction index between a material forming the porous semiconductor layer 24 and a material forming the solid p-type semiconductor layer 26 is equal to or smaller than 1 in a light wavelength range of 400-1000 nm, otherwise a Rayleigh scattering cross section determined from refraction indexes of the materials is equal to or smaller than 0.1 in a light wavelength range of 400-1000 nm.
