PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine control system capable of more favorably securing implementation period of a fuel cut and preventing shock due to a torque step at a start of the fuel cut.SOLUTION: During execution of a pre-F/C delay control which is a control for reducing an engine torque before a start of a fuel cut, when a state in which an ignition timing reaches to a fire loss limit continues for a predetermined time (S110: YES), the fuel cut is started in advance before satisfaction of a normal completion condition of the control (S107). |
