PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide color processing device and method that can acquire an excellent color conversion result by calculating an adaptation point in consideration of the hue of a white point.SOLUTION: A color processing device has input means for inputting white color data representing a white point inherent in a device on a color space, projecting means for projecting the white point onto a curved line containing the white point on the color space by using the white color data, adaptation white point calculating means for calculating an adaptation point of the projected projection white point as an adaptation white point as one point on the curved line, correction amount calculating means for calculating a correction amount of the adaptation white point on the basis of the projection, correcting means for correcting the adaptation white point on the basis of the correction amount, and color conversion means for performing color conversion processing on image data by using the corrected adaptation white point. |
